Description: This CEU explores the ethical considerations for BCBAs participating in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, ensuring effective and professional collaboration with educational teams. The session provides an overview of what an IEP should contain to meet legal and educational standards. Emphasis will be placed on the BCBA’s role in contributing ethically to the IEP process, including how to navigate multidisciplinary collaboration, maintain professional boundaries, and uphold ethical obligations under the BACB code. This training equips BCBAs with the knowledge and tools to advocate for clients effectively while fostering positive and ethical partnerships within the school system.
