Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium
Free family Pass To The Zoo through AFN. This pass may be checked out by families with special needs during 2023. Please contact AFN at [email protected] to find out if the pass is available.
Imagination Playground at The RiverFront Gene Leahy Mall
This activity is from 12:00 - 4:00, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
The Imagination Playground is a set of blue blocks that can turn any area into a play area that promotes learning, social growth, mobility, and enjoyment! Kids can use their imagination to stack, line, and move each block into an endless variety of patterns.
Omaha Children’s Museum
Sensory Hours are available from 9:00 - 11:00 AM on July 9, September 10, November 19.
Outside of these special times, the museum is committed to creating a warm and welcoming environment for all so sensory kits are available, free of charge, that can be checked out at the front desk.
AMC Theater
The Autism Society and AMC have partnered up to present special movie showings when the lights are turned up and the sound is turned down so you can move around, sing, dance, or shout. This is offered every month, on the second and fourth Saturdays (family-friendly) and Wednesday evenings (adult audiences). For precise showtimes, please check the theater listings in your area.
